Livingston Memorial
Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice
The Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association has been making home health house calls for Ventura County residents since 1947. LMVNA can support a patient’s needs for home health care and hospice with its experienced, certified and licensed staff.
LMVNA’s primary purpose is to provide comprehensive home health and hospice services to Ventura County patients regardless of their ability to pay, based on its available resources. Its target population encompasses the sick, frail, disabled, elderly, terminally ill and homebound residents of the county. It is the policy of the organization that all patients will be treated with dignity and respect on a non-discriminatory basis.
In effort to serve Ventura County’s heterogeneous ethnic population LMVNA has clinical field staff (registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, dieticians, medical social workers, certified home health aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists) as well as in-house employees who are bilingual (English/Spanish). LMVNA also utilizes a translation phone service to provide an interpreter for our patients who speak limited or no English.
