Statement of Purpose & Guiding Principles

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association recognizes the growing need to provide services in the home environment for the sick, handicapped, elderly, terminally ill, and homebound. As a community supported, nonprofit organization we strive to provide professional, licensed and supportive home care services of the highest quality in the most cost-effective manner to the people of Ventura County to ensure a positive patient outcome. Service is provided without discrimination.

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association develops health-related programs based on community need and acceptance, economic viability and the availability of resources to provide services. Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association is sensitive to the financial circumstances of the patients it serves and provides needed services, including services at reduced or no charge to indigent patients, based upon the available resources of the organization.
