Life Insurance

Life insurance is a versatile tool for making gifts to Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association. You can name Livingston as the full or partial beneficiary of a new policy or of an existing policy you no longer need.

Livingston will accept a life insurance policy as a gift when the agency is named as the owner and 100 percent beneficiary, and the policy is paid up. If you contribute further premium payments, Livingston will recognize the amount of the additional premiums as gifts, which are tax deductible. If you decide to discontinue funding premium payments, Livingston may continue to pay the premium or surrender the policy for its cash value.

There are many creative uses of Life Insurance that include a charitable component. Livingston encourages you to work with a professional to assist you in creating a gift that best matches your current and future needs and intent.
